Day trip from Barcelona to the Penedès wine region — no car needed

The Penedès wine region is 40 minutes from Barcelona. But without a car, getting there independently means trains, connections, taxis between wineries, and timetables that rarely line up. We have solved all of that. In partnership with Catalunya Bus Turístic, we have built a full-day excursion where the only thing you need to do is show up at the bus station. We take care of everything else.

The programme combines two experiences at the heart of the Penedès:

First: wine tasting at Cellers Torreblanca
The day starts with a walk through the vineyards and a guided tasting at a 15th-century farmhouse. You will try local wines that blend tradition with innovation, in the landscape that makes them unique.

Then: cava-making workshop at ArtCava
At Masia Can Batlle, you will enter the artisan cellar and take part in the real cava production process. Step by step — disgorgement, corking, capsulating and labelling — you will make your own bottle of Palagó cava with a personalised label. You take it home with you.
